US Primate Sanctuary

As a Young inexperienced Parrot owner i  got involved with exotics in the mid 1980's and started specializing in education,rehabilitation of domesticated wild exotic parrots,.in 1990 We started ILBR a large species avian Rescue.As the pet trade grew and people were buying up exotics on impulse we came across several primate situations and began research and study on new world primates and a few other species. in 2009 we Established USPRS a primate sanctuary for new world monkeys.We have been amazed with but yet concerned with exotics and the destruction of their natural habitats and food sources.Exotic pet ownership,Exotic animal abuse,We plan to open a one of a kind high tech sophisticated modern Primate Center  in mid 2011 in Northern Indiana.
